The vineyards have an excellent southern exposure at 985-623 feet above sea level and the mild Mediterranean climate contributes to maintaining the balance of the grapes acidity, sugar and aromas.

The Soils Most vineyards feature dense mineral-rich clay soil, mostly glacial moronic. Vineyards are in the clay soil on the southern shores of Garda Lake. Racy acidity characterized yet all the Lugana wines.
