Photo credit: Penny Weiss Bodegas Valdemar Conde Valdemar Crianza 2018 Bodegas Valdemar Winery is located in Oyon, Alava Spain, and has a history of winemaking dating back to 1889. They have 300 hectares of vineyards throughout Rioja and are considered one of the largest estates in Rioja. It is aged for eight months in natural oak.

So, with enthusiasm and determination, Rrustem returned to Kosovo with the Gecaj family and purchased the NBI Rahoveci winery renaming it Stone Castle Vineyards and Winery. Before the war, Kosovo had over 9000 hectares of vineyards with over a 2000 year history of winemaking. In 2008, Kosovo was recognized as an independent state.

She found a parcel of land in the Anderson Valley, the Ferrington Vineyard, which was long neglected. So he wisely sought out the expertise of vineyard managers and winemakers in the industry while also taking courses in viticulture. Most of the grapes for their wines are sourced from this vineyard.

Fontanafredda Briccotondo Barbera Piemonte DOC 2018 Fontanafredda, whose origins date back to 1858, is a 305-acre estate located in the Langhe region of Piedmont, Italy. 250 acres of vineyards spread throughout Serralunga d’Alba, which is a cru site of Barolo. Perfume scents mingle with dark berries, plum, cherry and spice.
