Their father charged him and his five brothers with constructing the winery and creating the vineyards. Today the family owns some of the best vineyards in Monterey for Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the family offers four key varieties made with quality grapes at an excellent price point.

Beyond maturation, each of the six Lugana wines had a slightly different taste profile depending on the vineyard soil. Vineyards are planted on calcareous and silt-rich clay soil.

Today there are 80 hectares of established vineyards surrounding the renovated winery. Located in the Municipality of Grosseto, the estate today comprises 105 hectares of mainly Sangiovese proprietary vineyards used to produce Morellino di Scanscano DOCG. The grapes are sourced from vineyards used only for Riserva wines.

Jean-Luc Colombo Cape Bleue Rosé 2019. So I was quite excited to taste this producer’s rosé The wine is a blend of 67% Syrah and 33% Mourvèdre grapes sourced from the stony limestone vineyards located in the hills above the bay of Marseille, next to Provence. Bertani Bertarose Rosé IGT 2019.

It wasn’t until late 2011, that Ron fulfilled a 40-year dream and purchased River Road Family Vineyards and Winery in the Green Valley AVA, a subzone of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. River Road Vineyards/Ron Rubin Winery. The winery has nine acres of vineyards of which 6.5 Un-Oaked Chardonnay 2019.
