This legislation results from innovative practices restaurants and bars developed during COVID-19 shutdowns nationwide. § 3-3-11 also requires the customer receiving the alcohol to place it in a locked glove compartment, a locked trunk, or the area behind the last upright seat in the vehicle if it is not equipped with a trunk.
