BevSpot, a nascent online software platform formed by Harvard affiliates to help enable licensed alcohol distributors to sell their products to restaurants and bars, recently received $720,000 in seed funding to develop its services.
We Homo sapiens have been using kitchen utensils for quite awhile now. How long? Since the dawn of the Stone Age, nearly three million years ago! Then it was mortar and pestles. Now it’s mortar and pestles and rice cookers sporting the Android operating system. What happened in between? Let’s turn back the clock … With the start of the Bronze Age, around 3600 BCE, wealthier households in the Middle East and Mediterranean regions ditched their stone and wood implements in favor of utensils
We just launched a new and improved website for Tap42 , and it is one sexy beast if we do say so ourselves! A Thousand Words. Tap42 sets a high standard for their restaurant, so they hired Jam Photography to take professional pics of their gorgeous food and establishment. The photos took two separate sessions to capture, and we think they beautifully represent the brand and atmosphere of the restaurant. 3D’licious.

We just gave The Cage Bar & Grill website a racing inspired web design to match the restaurant’s dedication to all things NASCAR! 19 Years and Counting. The Cage has been a Hollywood, Florida institution since 1995. It’s where the locals go to chow down on their famous signature Earnhardt Burger; throw back some brews; and enjoy their favorite sports!
At first blush, choosing forks, spoons and knives for your new restaurant might seem like a relatively insignificant task, just one among many decisions you have to make before opening day. Ask any restaurant designer worth her salt, and she’ll readily affirm the importance of flatware and how it can help— or hurt —the overall aesthetics of a restaurant’s design.
We can’t emphasize enough how important it is for a restaurant to have a mobile optimized (friendly) website! We live in an on-the-go world that uses mobile devices to remain connected to the things that matter to us. Any business that doesn’t have a website that fits and works on a mobile device is handing the competitive advantage to their competition that do have mobile sites!
