On a recent trip to Sicily, I had the opportunity to explore the wine regions in the Southeastern part of the island, including a special visit to Vittoria. However, today my article focuses on Vittoria, explaining why this is such a special part of Sicily and introducing a few of its wineries.

His dream was to have a family-owned winery, so in 2005 he began making wines under the label ‘Joseph Carr.” Practicing sustainability, the grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in Colchagua Valley, Chile, where the winery is located. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Start with a happy hour martini, then enjoy a plate of Yu Kowk, Frank’s special dumplings filled with beef and pork. The nigiri specials are always on point, and I suggest you try them, but if you prefer a specialty roll, the firecracker and the sunshine rolls are excellent options. Equally delicious is the fish.
