Charleston has a lot of excellent cuisines to offer, but if you’ve stumbled across this list, you want something special- sushi. Open since 2001 (Charleston’s longest operating sushi bar). Thai Elephant is fairly casual, but don’t let appearances fool you. Their specials are great. The food is anything but ordinary.
