Feeling unappreciated as a restaurant industry worker? Then Thursday is your day to dive into a free bowl of pasta to reward your dedication to an industry that can be, let’s face it, quite stressful.

Noodles & Company on March 2 is inviting all restaurant workers—from any brand—to enjoy a free bowl (up to $13 in value) between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. in whatever time zone they’re in. All you need to do is wear your uniform.

The event precedes Noodles’ own Employee Appreciation Day, scheduled for March 3, during which the company will celebrate its 8,000 or so workers. The Broomfield, Colo.-based chain also has added to its benefits package, and now offers a financial wellness program in partnership with WellCents.

The program is designed to help team members plan their financial future, set financial goals and speak with experts who can offer guidance. Noodles also offers employees access to LifeWorks, an employee assistance program, that provides financial planning support in addition to mental health resources and counseling.

Other benefits available to Noodles’ employees include an immigration reimbursement stipend, resource groups for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC team members, and general managers have access to an equity partnership program. And Noodles offers family benefits that include a phase-in/phase-out maternity program and paid parental leave up to six weeks; adoption and surrogacy assistance and more.

“We take great pride in caring for our team members with the same Uncommon Goodness that our team members so generously serve our guests each and every day,” said Sue Petersen, executive vice president of inclusion, diversity and people at Noodles & Company, in a statement. “While our benefits make a bit impact, we believe small actions do too, which is why each of our restaurants will also host a celebration on Employee Appreciation Day filled with favorite foods and festivities to thank our team members for their dedication.”
