Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries launch at Taco Bell Thursday, bringing with them the fast-food giant’s inaugural Nacho Fries Lover’s Pass. Rewards Members can purchase the pass for $10 on the Taco Bell app and order up Nacho Fries every day for 30 consecutive days.

The chain’s latest subscription-model pass is patterned on the success of the Taco Lover’s Pass, rolled out nationwide in 2022.

Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries are a mashup of Taco Bell’s signature Nacho Fries and a classic Grilled Cheese sandwich—two craveable comfort foods. The limited-time item tops crisp french fries with mozzarella, pepperjack and cheddar cheeses, followed by marinated grilled steak and finished with Nacho Cheese and Chipotle sauces. Heat seekers can try the spicy version with added jalapenos.

Nacho Fries were first introduced by the Irvine, Calif.-based chain in 2018, and have since returned to the menu 11 times with various twists, most recently in September with a vegan cheese sauce and back in April, in an extra-fiery version. The original Nacho Fries now go for $2.19 on Taco Bell’s menu, but both of the new grilled cheese variations sell for $4.99. Previous loaded versions also were priced at a premium.

Lover's Pass

Taco Bell Rewards Members can download the pass for $10 on the app.

The Nacho Fries Lover’s Pass entitles a user to one regular size Nacho Fries a day—still quite a bargain for true fans who won’t tire of eating the same thing for 30 days in a row.

“We're committed to pushing the boundaries of convenience and innovation for our biggest fans, our loyalty members,” said Dane Mathews, chief digital officer at Taco Bell, in a statement. “The Nacho Fries Lover’s Pass is just one example of how we’re leveraging digital technology to enhance their experience. Our dedication to our fans and an innovative customer experience continues to be a driving force behind our efforts to leverage digital innovation in transformational ways.”

Taco Bell will be celebrating the second iteration of its Lover’s Pass and the launch of Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries with weekly TikTok live videos.
