Red Robin Chief People Officer Wayne Davis is leaving after less than two years with the company.
Davis was hired in November 2021 and led the company’s human resources strategy. His departure is effective May 1, Red Robin said in a federal securities filing Thursday.
Before joining the Bloomfield, Colo.-based chain, Davis held HR leadership roles at Comcast, YRC Freight and American Greetings.
He is the only member of Red Robin’s current C-suite to pre-date CEO G.J. Hart, who assumed the role in September and quickly began recasting the leadership team.
The chain’s COO, CIO and chief concept officer have all left, and Hart has hired a new CFO, chief legal officer and executive chef.
He was hired from the chain’s board to help turn the brand around after it struggled to rebound from the pandemic. He has focused on improving Red Robin’s burgers and its labor model, including bringing bussers and bartenders back into restaurants.
