Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop and Wing Zone are expanding their c-suite.

The fast-casual restaurants have named Michael Meche chief restaurant officer and Scott Wessel chief technology officer.

Meche comes to the brands after 30 years at Papa Johns. He most recently was head of franchise operations at the pizza chain, where he spearheaded continued growth and development, according to a press release.

Wessel joins the chains from MGM Resorts International, where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer. He hopes to "create a roadmap" for Capriotti's and Wing Zone that will help them adapt more advanced technology, per the release.

Both Meche and Wessel hope to drive revenue and innovation, and to support the growing franchise system.

"The expansion of our c-suite is meant to signal more than just the growth of our internal operations. It's representative of the team we're building to oversee and ensure that the culture, quality, and commitment of the Capriotti's and Wing Zone brands remain uniform and unwavering as we continue to rapidly develop in new markets around the country," said David Bloom, chief development and operating officer for Capriotti's and Wing Zone.
