Lifestyle Maven Joanna Gaines Returns to the Reality TV Screen With a Brand New Cooking Show

Waco restaurateur and Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines has officially returned to the airwaves with a brand new cooking show that just made its debut over the weekend.

Called Magnolia Table, the new show shares its name with Gaines’s beloved Waco restaurant, and her best-selling cookbook. The show was announced back in December, and will feature Gaines teaching her shiplap-obsessed fans how to make Magnolia Table’s famed biscuits, along with more personal recipes like her family’s fatayar, or Lebanese meat pies.

The show premiered over the weekend on Food Network with a behind-the-scenes special and its first two episodes, but expect Magnolia Table to eventually make its way over to the Magnolia Network, a television channel that Gaineses are set to launch sometime this year in partnership with the Discovery Network.

Even though most of Gaines’s acolytes know her from reality TV, she’s made a major impact on Waco and its dining scene. At present, Gaines and her husband, Chip, operate multiple dining-focused businesses, including the wildly popular Silos Baking Company, Magnolia Table, and a coffee shop called Magnolia Press. The restaurants and shop attract tens of thousands of tourists to Waco each year.

All episodes of Magnolia Table’s first season will be available for streaming on January 1 via Discovery Plus.
