Memorial Day is here, and while it’s likely your usual plans for the three-day weekend have changed, the sales have not. As usual, retailers are marking the holiday for honoring fallen military personnel with deals. Given that Memorial Day is also the unofficial start to summer, many of these deals focus on enjoying the outdoors. But if enjoying the great outdoors isn’t quite within reach, there are also plenty of discounts on all the kitchen tools necessary to improve your life inside.

Below, what retailers are offering as well as some standout discounts to satisfy all your summer cooking goals, whether they involve getting into grilling or simply starting a smoothie habit:

Williams Sonoma is offering some steep discounts on knives. Shun classic knives are up to 55 percent off and Wusthof classic knives are up to 60 percent off; a 16-piece Wusthof knife set plus knife block is now $300, down from $684, while an eight-piece box set is on sale for $50, down from $120.

Wedding registry site Zola is taking $50 off all Vitamix blenders through May 24, and offering 20 percent off site-wide May 22 through May 26 with the code SUNNY.

At Wayfair cookware is up to 60 percent off. An 11-piece Cuisinart stainless steel cookware set is actually 65 percent off. A KitchenAid stand mixer with dough hook is on sale for $220, down from $350. Plus, grills are up to 40 percent off; this deluxe version of the Kitchen Gadget Test Show-approved Weber charcoal grill is now 20 percent off.

Over at Sur la Table, outdoor grilling tools are up to 55 percent off. There are plenty of specific grilling tools — like this shrimp pan, perfect for the grill master who has literally everything else — but there are many items on sale that work just as well for indoors, including cast-iron skillets and a Staub cocotte.

Bed Bath & Beyond is offering $30 off small kitchen appliances, discounts on Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives (like this seven-piece, self-sharpening knife block set now $100 off), and 25 percent off grilling tools.

Target has deals across the site in all categories, including plenty of discounts on kitchen appliances — naturally, the Instant Pot included. And even though pressure-cooked stews might not sound like ideal summer cooking, if you’ve been thinking about adding an Instant Pot to your kitchen, this deal makes now as good a time as any.

Food52 has some high-end products going on sale now and through the weekend, including the Global vegetable peeler with interchangeable blades (now $44, down from $55), Zwilling’s attractive ceramic nonstick fry pans, and several Staub items, like the braiser with a glass lid, the 2-in-1 cocotte and grill pan, and ceramic baking dishes in various shapes and sizes.
