Smoke Lab Serves UP A Summer Menu of Cocktails Inspired by New Saffron Vodka

SMOKE LAB Saffron marries India’s finest, award-winning vodka with Kashmiri Saffron, the rarest and most coveted type of saffron cultivated from the valley of Kashmir. The result is a luxurious spirit that delivers subtle, sweet earthy notes that give way to a delicate floral finish.

Each of the four inspired cocktails below are named for rock and roll classics and created by SMOKE LAB National Mixologist and Industry expert, @paulalukas27. The result is a range of passionately smooth vodka cocktails that are elegant, visually stunning, and daringly different.

GIRLS ON FILM

  • 1.5 oz Smoke Lab Saffron Vodka
  • 1 oz Power’s Irish Rye
  • 3 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
  • .25 oz orange blossom water
  • 12 raspberries – 6 for garnish

Muddle 6 raspberries in a shaker. Add liquid ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake, and fine strain over fresh ice into a large rocks glass. Garnish with a skewer of raspberries

SURRENDER

  • 1.5 oz Smoke Lab Saffron Vodka
  • 1 oz Suntory Toki Whisky
  • 1 oz Lustau Fino Jarana Sherry
  • 2 dashes Bittermens Elemakule Tiki Bitters
  • 3 dried rosebuds – garnish Combine liquid ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with 3 dried rosebuds

DIVINE THING

  • 1.5 oz Smoke Lab Saffron Vodka
  • 1 oz KLEOS Mastiha Spirit
  • .75 oz Sorel Liqueur
  • 2-3 oz Sparkling Rosé
  • 6 Blackberries – garnish

Combine first three ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a highball glass. Top with sparkling rosé and garnish with a skewer of blackberries.

TAKIN’ IT TO THE STREETS

  • 1.25 oz Smoke Lab Saffron Vodka
  • 1 oz Mijenta Tequila Blanco
  • .5 oz Giffard Banane Du Bresil
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz peach nectar
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt
  • 2 edible flowers – garnish
  • 1 strawberry slice – garnish
  • 2 rosemary sprigs – 1 for garnish

Combine liquid ingredients, one rosemary sprig, and sea salt in a shaker with ice. Shake and fine strain over fresh ice in a large rocks glass. Garnish with edible flowers, strawberry slice, and a rosemary sprig.
