We admire Broken Shed vodka for its utterly clean aroma and satisfying palate. This is one of the more satisfying emerging vodkas that is distilled from whey and made from New Zealand spring water. The aroma is clean, with hints of vanilla and grass. The palate is smooth without a burn. The palate produces butterscotch and vanilla flavors that linger in a rich sensation display. You can drink it neat or as a base for your favorite cocktail. It would do well as a martini. Enjoy!

Broken Shed Vodka, as its tagline goes, is “the vodka of tomorrow,” both because of its clean, modern style and the fact that it is produced in New Zealand where, compared to most countries at least, it is in fact already tomorrow. The vodka is distilled three times from whey and cut using New Zealand mountain water taken from a 15,000-year-old mineral-rich aquifer on New Zealand’s South Island. The result is a crisp, refreshing vodka with a mineral-kissed aroma and a soft, sweet palate of lemon zest and powdered sugar that fades into a warming and lightly peppered finish. Good for sipping but even better in your next cocktail.
