Kilinga is a family-owned distillery named after Kilinga, the Señora of the family.

Growing its agave in the former silver mining area of Álamos, in the Mexican state of Sonora, Kilinga produces a refined expression of bacanora.

Bacanora is the origin denomination for a version of mezcal produced by agave grown in the state of Sonora. It’s less smoky than its agave-derive cousins.

The three types we tasted were:

Blanco: Leather, caramel. Just a hint of smoke.

42% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME (84 PROOF)

Silvestre: Earthy. Toasted coffee, herbs, and wildflowers

40% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME (80 PROOF)

Reposado: Woody. Roasted coffee. Vanilla

40% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME (80 PROOF)
