21 Best Restaurants with Private Dining Rooms in Las Vegas

private dining room setup for a special event in vegas

Las Vegas, a city synonymous with spectacle, knows that some moments call for a more intimate stage. The greatest private dining establishments in Vegas serve up elegance and seclusion to satisfy those looking for a more intimate experience amidst the flash and glamour of the city. Whether nestled within a celebrity chef’s kitchen or perched high above the Strip, these dining havens provide exclusivity without skimping on the culinary drama Vegas is known. With settings as varied as the menus, they promise discretion for power lunches, romantic whispers, or celebratory toasts. From opulent rooms that echo with Old World luxury to modern spaces that dazzle with innovation, Las Vegas’s private dining experiences are as multifaceted as the city itself. Let’s pull back the velvet curtain and step into the world of Las Vegas’s finest private dining.

1. Picasso

One of the best restaurants in Vegas for private dining is Picasso. You’ll find Picasso on the grounds of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. This stunning French restaurant feels like you’re sitting in Paris or Nice rather than Las Vegas. There are floral arrangements throughout the restaurant and cool-toned colors, giving it a calm atmosphere. If you’re thinking about having your special occasion there, you should! Our party had a magnificent view of the Bellagio fountains while enjoying the signature dishes, like the warm quail salad and roasted milk-fed veal chops. No matter what menu you select for the guests, you’ll want to look at their 1,500 bottles of wine to find the perfect selection.

2. Joel Robuchon

3799 Las Vegas Blvd S MGM Grand, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Located near the MGM Grand hotel is Joel Robuchon, a stunning French restaurant that has blue and gold accents throughout, making it one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. This quiet and intimate restaurant is the perfect spot for your work party, wedding celebration, engagement party, or anything in between. As the only Three Michelin Star and AAA Five Diamond restaurant in Vegas, you’ll experience some of the best food of your life. I could not stop raving about this food after our visit. You and your guests will have a 16-course tasting menu filled with classic French dishes.

3. e by Jose Andres

Inside the Cosmopolitan Resort is e by Jose Andres. This Spanish restaurant is smaller and quieter compared to the other major restaurants on The Vegas Strip. The menu offers patrons a taste of Spanish avant-garde dishes. The atmosphere is warm, and the lighting is always dim. When I visited, we enjoyed one of only two nightly seatings, each roughly two hours. If you want to reserve the restaurant for your private event, you’ll want to do it as far in advance as possible since the spot is almost always booked. The menu is a complete tasting menu filled with traditional and elegant Spanish dishes.

4. Mon Ami Gabi

Across the street from the Bellagio fountain is Mon Ami Gabi. It’s the perfect, classic French restaurant outside of France. The chefs at Mon Ami Gabi prepare traditional French dishes while adding modern takes to elevate every patron’s dining experience. If you’re looking for an entire restaurant for an event, Mon Ami Gabi can seat 650 guests. If you don’t need that many seats, their main dining room seats 80, the private dining room seats 30, the bar fits 50, and two other rooms fit 32 and 80 people. My favorite dishes include seared salmon and filet mignon. Consider these delicious options for your event.

Next to the Trevi Fountain of Las Vegas is Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab. This restaurant models the original one that opened in Miami in 1913. The cuisine reflects the flavors of the sea and, of course, key lime pie, which is popular in Florida, where it first opened. Joe’s Seafood has five private rooms that can accommodate anywhere from small to large parties. For seated parties, these rooms can hold anywhere from 30 to 104 people and up to 150 for standing receptions. While the ambiance is stellar, I have to say my favorite part is the private dining menu, featuring fresh seafood, steaks, and delicious wine to pair with every meal.

6. Zuma Las Vegas

At the Cosmopolitan is Zuma. This contemporary Japanese restaurant is sure to impress anyone. The restaurant is warm and welcoming and is the perfect setting to have intimate conversations with all your guests. There are several areas inside Zuma that you can reserve for your private dining experience. Between all their available rooms, you can fit 19 to 100 people. Regardless of the number of guests, their caviar platter and the a5 Japanese Wagyu tatai are appetizers they’ll love. Make sure you plan ahead because I filled out an inquiry form weeks before our private event here.

7. Michael Mina

Michael Mina is located in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. As the name implies, the famous chef, Michael Mina runs and operates this fantastic seafood restaurant. His award-winning cuisine is the perfect food to eat with friends and family while you celebrate a graduation, promotion, or anything else. Their private dining rooms are bright and colorful while still maintaining a calm atmosphere. The tables are lined with white linen tablecloths, and you can feast on their signature dishes like Maine lobster pot pie and my favorite, the Phyllo-crusted Sole. They also have American cuisine to accompany the seafood dishes.

8. Prime Steakhouse

Inside the famous Bellagio Hotel and Casino is Prime Steakhouse. One of the best parts about dining at Prime Steakhouse is that you have the best fountain views from their patio. The patio with fountain views is the best place to host your private event. It can seat up to 80 people comfortably. The cuisine at Prime Steakhouse includes the best cuts of steak, seafood, and lamb. Plus, they have a fine selection of high-quality wine. For your private party, the menu will feature two of their signature dishes, the fillet mignon and seafood platter. Of course, be sure to try the appetizer options and other main courses. Trust me – everything is delicious!

One of the best sushi restaurants in Las Vegas is right off of The Strip. Sushi Roku is a contemporary sushi restaurant where chefs combine all the traditional techniques sushi chefs use in Japan while incorporating unique and non-traditional ingredients for a magnificent experience. If you’re thinking about hosting your private event at Sushi Roku, you’ll get to choose from five room options. The restaurant can seat 30 to 240 people for a private dining experience. I loved their a la carte sushi and sashimi menu, spicy miso soup, and the American wagyu potsticker.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that doesn’t serve Italian or American cuisine for your private event, Wing Lei is a fantastic option. This five-star Chinese restaurant has a home inside the Wynn Hotel on The Strip. The restaurant has beautiful decorations with gold accents and traditional Chinese decor. To reserve a private dining room at Wing Lei, you’ll need to speak to the sales team at the Wynn. I emailed them, but you can also contact them over the phone. As you’re building the menu for your special occasion, you won’t want to miss having the tableside Imperial Peking duck and the wok-fried Maine lobster.

Veranda is an upscale and authentic Italian restaurant inside the Four Seasons near the Las Vegas Strip. The cuisine is what they would call modern American. Veranda is open for almost every meal, every day. This means you can have a private event for any mealtime. The event space at Veranda has three options. You can dine indoors or outdoors, or both. Each area can hold up to 100 people, making the total you can book 200. I was able to work with a helpful event coordinator who assisted me in preparing a menu for our event. I have to recommend their steak salad and sin city burger, two signature dishes worth adding to your menu.

Andiamo Steakhouse is in the heart of downtown Las Vegas inside the posh D’hotel. Andiamo Steakhouse is the perfect combination of classic American steakhouse dishes with authentic Italian menu items that will leave you full and satisfied. They make it easy to start planning your private dining experience at Andiamo. They have an event survey you can fill out on their website to pick your date, time, type of menu, and the number of people in attendance. You’ll want to make sure you have a selection of their steaks on the menu, but don’t overlook the lobster bisque and various pasta dishes!

If you’ve ever eaten at The Capital Grille in another city, you know how good it is. It’s even better for private dining. The Capital Grille in Las Vegas is right across the street from the Wynn Hotel in a shopping plaza. When planning your event, you’ll be assigned a personal event coordinator to guide you through the process. As you work with your personal event coordinator, you’ll select a specialized menu based on their menu favorites. They’ll even help you choose the best wine options based on what dishes you’re choosing for your event. I loved the tenderloin and poached lobster tails as well as their lamb rib chops.

On the west side of Las Vegas is Capo’s Restaurant and Speakeasy. When you walk through the doors, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time to when the Mob ran things in Las Vegas. This mob-themed restaurant and speakeasy are incredibly intimate, making it perfect for private dining. When you celebrate your special event, you and your guests will dine in a room with dark wood chairs and tables with dim lighting to set the mood. Some chairs feature a deep, red leather, going with the speakeasy theme. Some of their signature dishes that I love are the bruschetta, ma’s meatballs, deep-fried ravioli, and Goodfellas Picatta.

15. Edge Steakhouse

Edge Steakhouse Las Vegas

Are you looking for an upscale but affordable steakhouse to host your event? The Edge Steakhouse is one you’ll want to take a look at. The restaurant is only two miles from The Strip, so it’s a little away from the crowds but close enough that you and your guests can venture out after if you like. You’ll find all your favorite cuts of steak and then appetizers that take inspiration from global cuisine. To plan your private event at Edge Steakhouse, you’ll need to get in touch with their event department. They’ll help you choose the menu, drinks, and how you want the tables arranged for your event. The best starter, in my opinion, is to serve your guests is the charred octopus and, for the main course, Skuna Bay salmon.

16. SW Steakhouse

Inside one of the most luxurious and famous hotels on The Strip is SW Steakhouse. This stunning restaurant sits in the Wynn Hotel and offers many patrons a view of the famous water show. It’s the perfect upscale American steakhouse with plenty of vegan options for your event. If you’re interested in hosting your private event at SW Steakhouse, you’ll need to contact their group dining department. They’ll help you arrange the tables you choose and pick a menu that everyone will love. Their aged steaks were a fan favorite among my guests. Plus, whatever sides you choose, their truffle sauce is the perfect topping.

If you’re looking for a restaurant to host your special event that’s less than five minutes to The Strip, you need to check out Partage. This modern French restaurant combines modern decor and takes on classic French dishes. The head chef spent ten years working at high-end restaurants in Paris before opening Partage in 2015. Something that makes private dining unique at Partage is that every guest will have an animation and their name displayed on their plate. When arranging your private dining experience, you’ll get to choose between a five, seven, or nine-course tasting menu with dishes like braised oxtail and truffle caviar. I also enjoyed their extensive wine and alcohol selection.

18. Carson Kitchen

Ten minutes north of the Las Vegas Strip is Carson Kitchen. There are only three of these restaurants in the country, and Vegas is lucky enough to have one. This restaurant combines modern decor with rustic finishes. There are plenty of metal fixtures, and the tables are wooden. If you want to celebrate a special occasion at Carson Kitchen, try and rent out their rooftop. It’s intimate enough that you don’t need to have hundreds of guests but large enough to accommodate 30 or so people. Their pork meatloaf, potato and leek flatbread, and secret Sunday chicken sandwich are some of my favorite dishes.

If you’re interested in having your private event at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, you have two location options. One is near the airport, about ten minutes south of The Strip, and the other one is about 20 minutes away near the Peccole Ranch neighborhood. Two location options allow you to choose the one that best suits the majority of the people attending. Fleming’s has a variety of event packages depending on what type of event you want to host at their restaurants. They have work party packages where you can have audio and visual aspects. Regardless of the occasion, you’ll be able to choose from dishes like truffle poached lobster and bone-in ribeye. My favorite was their French onion soup.

Piero’s is a treasure in Vegas. It’s an authentic Northern Italian restaurant that combines that culture with old-school Vegas culture. It’s less than two miles from the famous Strip and is the perfect place to host your private event. The best thing about reserving a private dining room in Piero’s is that they can accommodate anywhere from ten to 345 people. Whether your private event is on a smaller or larger size, you and your guests will feast on delicious pasta dishes. Make sure that their famous Osso Bucco is on the menu for your event, as that was an immense hit with our work dinner guests!
