Dance clubs, bars, and live music enhance the nightlife scene, and during the day, vibrant street art decorates residential areas and repurposed factories. The hip Brooklyn community draws in creatives, entrepreneurs, and restaurateurs. It also plays host to trendy shops, cafes, and buzzworthy restaurants all around the neighborhood. If you are looking for weekly drink specials or Happy Hour deals in Williamsburg, check out my list of the 21 best spots!

Pokito Brooklyn is open in South Williamsburg with indoor seating and an outdoor patio. The vibe is relaxed and retro, with a four-seat bar and bright lights. The bar is open daily with extended afternoon hours on the weekends, with Happy Hour occurring from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On Sundays, Happy Hour lasts until midnight! Try the Paloma with mezcal or the RickRoss with tequila and Thai chili if you’re interested in a cocktail. For a bourbon-based drink, try the Muy Bueno with honey and orange bitters. The bar also offers frozen cocktails like the Yuz+Me with mezcal and yuzu. My favorite beverage is the Lolita with infused vodka!

If you need a snack, try some tapas like the shrimp ceviche, or my favorite, the crab cake sliders.

Other great drink options included mezcal-based Hot First Date and the traditional margarita with fresh lime juice. If you are looking for a Happy Hour snack, try the Fresh Charred Sourdough Bread with whipped ricotta and basil oil.

The cocktails are Japanese-influenced and regularly change. I ordered the “Your Summer Passion” cocktail, and the very tropical taste had me feeling like I was on the islands. If you are hungry, I’d recommend ordering the roasted shishito peppers as a snack – they really fill you up! The Hidden Pearl is tucked in the back of a ramen restaurant, so I recommend visiting after finishing off a main course of noodles.
