If you love discovering new fashion Instagram influencers as much as I do, then I have the perfect post for you.
After much time researching and considering who I was excited about, I have curated my favorite luxury fashion influencers to follow on Instagram.
Why? Because they provide inspiration for new, unique outfits, and are often months or years ahead of the latest fashion trends.
So, please, enjoy! I hope you too are inspired along the way.
1. Chrissy Rutherford
Chrissy Rutherford, a Social Media Guru at Harper’s Bazaar, has a sense of style dictated by her own thoughtfulness and fearlessness.
If you are lucky enough to follow Harper’s Bazaar on Instagram, then you have been able to help her choose an outfit for work once a week! As a New Yorker, she is always up on the latest styles.
I can’t wait to see what she wears for NYFW!
2. Kerry Pieri
If you guys can believe it, about two years ago, this magnificent woman followed me on Instagram (update: she has since unfollowed me).
I was honored. Kerry, like Chrissy, is also at Harper’s Bazaar as the fashion director. Hello? Can you say dream job?
On top of all that, Kerry paints and raises the cutest baby girl, Luna. You can also catch Kerry’s outfit recipe videos on Harper’s Bazaar’s Instagram profile.
3. Lainy Hedaya
One of the newest fashion Instagram influencers I have followed is Lainy Hedaya.
When she was younger, she had worked for the likes of Jimmy Choo (and abroad no less)! One of her most recent accomplishments is throwing one of the chicest weddings of 2018 in less than six months after being engaged.
With a baby on the way, Lainy has shifted a lot of her posts from her outfits to her struggles with pregnancy and her keen eye for architecture and interiors.
4. Sylvie Mus
Another new fashion blogger I have found is Sylvie Mus. I learned about her eclectic mix of “maximalism” and minimalism on my latest trip to Paris.
She has the effortlessness of a Parisian and the styling of a Scandanavian. In my opinion, that is the supreme mixture.
5. Aleali May
The street style goddess of the century. Aleali May is originally from my hometown of Chicago, Illinois where she attended Columbia College Chicago.
From the time she graduated, May has taken the fashion world by storm. If you are lucky enough to cop a pair before they sell out, Aleali has a collection of sneakers she has created with Micheal Jordan.
If you are not seeing her working events to promote her sneakers, then May is modeling for Bergdorf Goodman or attending fashion shows by Chanel or Louis Vuitton.
6. Evangelie Smyrniotaki
Want to know what @styleheroine is known for? Think stellar photography, travel goals, and the best labels in high-fashion.
Evangelie considers herself an art director and is currently a model for Next Management Milano.
7. Chiara Ferragni
If you are looking to follow the absolute biggest influencers in high fashion, then you have to follow at least Chiara Ferragni and Alexa Chung.
Chiara is an Italian native and is known for her blog: The Blonde Salad. She is married to Italian popstar Fedez and has a baby boy.
Her fame has grown so great that her following is up to 17 million, she has her own clothing line and doll, plus she just landed a TV deal with Amazon. She is not a force to be reckoned with.
8. Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung is another influencer who has reached global recognition. Chung is currently a TV presenter, the creative director of her own fashion label, and a model.
She has presented her label in her home of London during Fashion Week. What a dream! Join 3.5 million people and follow her on Instagram!
9. Pernille Teisbaek
My personal favorite of all the influencers I follow– Pernille Teisbaek. I have even read her book: Dress Scandinavian.
Pernille lives by these rules: stand by minimalism, use pops of color, mix and match fabrics, and don’t be afraid of androgynous styling. Pernille is a model, mother, interior design saint, and a founder of the Social Zoo.
I was lucky enough to meet Pernille in a Chanel salon in Paris. I was starstruck. But, who wouldn’t be? She is flawless. See for yourself!
10. Nicole Warne
Last, but not least, Nicole Warne. Nicole is originally from Australia but has recently moved to New York after marrying Luke Shadbolt– a photographer.
She had the most gorgeous wedding in New Zealand wearing Valentino, is a makeup model for Giorgio Armani, and is on the cover of countless magazines. I would kill to be in her shoes at all the best fashion shows!
I could go on and on about high fashion Instagram influencers, but I wanted to give you just a taste of some of the best out there. If you want to see more, please, leave some comments below. And, be sure to tell us who are your favorites!
