Explain your role at xtraCHEF.

I’m the Director of Support and responsible for both customer and platform support.

Customer Support – The support team makes sure our customers on the platform are taken care of, resolving issues and sharing how they can go about exploring all of the features we offer. I lead the customer support team, with Mat and Chloe here in the US and 4 members offshore in India.

Platform Support – I ensure that our software is up and running at all times and make sure the infrastructure that hosts our software is always up to date and compatible with our software. My counterpart in India is Balamurugan on the platform. He manages a team of 2 members taking care of releases and maintenance of the platform.

Apart from my primary responsibilities, I’m little bit of a jack of all trades on the product side. I work closely with the product team on product requirements, enhancements and rollout of major releases. I also work closely with the on-boarding team on bring our customers up to speed. I also work closely with the Operations team on data quality, setting up procedures and workflows to ensure the data we produce from the platform is of good quality.
