How Bevarabia used technology to drive efficiency

Vivek Hans founded Bevarabia with a single retail outlet at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh in 2011. Today, Bevarabia has evolved as an integrated beverage platform for coffee distribution. The brand is among the leading producer and distributor of speciality coffee and niche beverage products in the UAE and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). It is the distributor for recognized brands, such as Astoria, Golden Brasil, Arkadia, Giffard, Mill City Roasters, BelliNo, Premier’s Tea.  Operating their coffee roastery under the brand “Kava Noir”, coffee is the heart of the business. Bevarabia currently operates three outlets in Riyadh, with one being under its own brand Kava Noir and progressing to expand in 2021.

Bevarabia has selected Posist’s award-winning cloud-based restaurant management software to automate the backend operations, implement QR code digital menu ordering and streamline reporting and analytics for Kava Noir cafe outlets in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Bevarabia uses Posist’s Billing software POS and Inventory Management to streamline its front of the house to the back of the house operations. Posist’s integrated restaurant inventory management enables the brand outlets to keep track of orders. With combined inventory and sales data, food costs analysis and variance reporting to detect any gaps in inventory at each storefront. 

Using Posist QR Code Ordering guests can scan the QR code through the phone camera and get the food menu. There is no hassle to install any app; the customer receives their food menu by scanning the QR code and option to place the order within clicks. Customers can place the order directly from their mobile, and the order reflects in the KDS (Kitchen Display System) within seconds.

With Posist’s live inventory data, managers can look at the dashboard and know exactly what’s happening across all stores. Understanding inventory helps the stores become more efficient and lower food costs. By utilizing Posist inventory and stock management software, Kava Noir can have more effective menu management and decrease food waste.
